Week 4 Player of the Week Nominees:
Small School (Class 1A-3A)
James “Booboo” Armstrong, QB, Hopewell, So.: Armstrong accounted for 609 yards — 346 passing, 263 rushing — and six touchdowns in a 51-50 loss to Beaver Area.
Travis Clear, QB, Beaver Area, Sr.: Clear completed 18 of 38 passes for 391 yards and two touchdowns, as Beaver Area edged Hopewell, 51-50.
Jake Kissel, ATH, Bishop Guilfoyle, Sr.: Kissel rushed for 158 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-14 victory over Huntingdon.
Philip Marino, Jr., WR/S, Beaver Area, Sr.: Marino had nine receptions for 216 yds and one touchdown and pick-six in a 51-50 victory over Hopewell.
Terrence McDowell, RB, Tamaqua Area, So.: McDowell ran for 273 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-27 loss to Jim Thorpe.
Will McPartland, QB/ATH, Scranton Prep, Sr.: McPartland accounted for 408 yards — 228 passing, 180 rushing — and seven touchdowns in 49-44 victory over Delaware Valley.
Landon Moser, RB/LB, Mifflinburg, Jr.: Moser had 11 carries for 116 yards and four touchdowns, along with 2 interceptions on defense in a 35-7 win over Montoursville.
Jeff Thompson, QB, Clairton, Sr.: Thompson completed 18 of his 23 passes for 288 yards and tossed three touchdowns, plus he ran for one touchdown on the ground in a 43-0 rout over Greensburg Central Catholic.
Mason Vinansky, RB, Mid Valley, Sr.: Vinansky rushed for 246 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Mid Valley to a 42-21 victory over Honesdale.
Ty’Meere Wilkerson, RB, Berwick, Sr.: Wilkerson ran for 290 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 48-6 victory over Hazleton Area.
Big School (Class 4A-6A)
Alante Caceres, RB, Central Dauphin East, Sr.: Caceres rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-7 win over Carlisle.
Sawyer Esbenshade, QB, Conestoga Valley, Sr.: Esbenshade threw for 332 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-7 victory over Ephrata.
Peyton Falzone, QB, Nazareth, Sr.: Falzone passed for 329 yards and two touchdowns and added another touchdown on the ground in a 56-21 rout over Bethlehem Freedom.
Jensen Ferber, QB, West York, So.: Ferber totaled four touchdowns — one rushing and three passing — and he passed for 259 yards in a 27-2 victory over York Suburban.
Antonio Fontanez, QB, Bethlehem Liberty, Sr.: Fontanez passed for 282 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-34 win over Northampton.
Landyn Kline, LB/FB, Cedar Crest, Sr.: Kline collected 5 tackles for loss in a 40-15 victory over Penn Manor.
Quincy Smith, LB/DE, Susquehanna Twp., Sr.: Smith accumulated three sacks in a 55-7 victory over West Perry.
Aaron Strader, QB, Pine-Richland, Jr.: Strader completed 14 of 27 passes for 331 yards and three touchdowns. He also scored on an 18-yard run as Pine-Richland rolled past North Hills, 48-6.
Tanner Zelachowski, TE/WR, Nazareth Area, Sr.: Zelachowski had 196 yards receiving and two touchdowns in a 56-21 win over Bethlehem Freedom.
Nickayus Zenon, WR, Middletown, Sr.: Zenon had six receptions for 186 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Boiling Springs.
