Week 10 Player of the Week Nominees:
Small School (Class 1A-3A)
Cohen Bechtel, RB, Halifax, Sr.: Bechtel scampered for 188 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 52-20 rout over Boiling Springs.
Matt Bodnar, QB, Notre Dame-Green Pond, Sr.: Bodnar threw for 311 passing yards and five touchdowns in a 62-0 trouncing over Wilson Area.
Jonah Ganoe, RB/LB, Smethport, Sr.: Ganoe dashed for 226 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 28-12 victory over Cameron County.
Cole Gerber, QB, South Williamsport, So.: Gerber passed for 307 yards and six touchdowns in a 62-0 shutout win over Northwest Area.
Maddox Jarynski, WR/LB, Trinity, Sr.: Jarzynski reeled in nine passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-27 win over Middletown.
Kaiden Maurer, QB/FS, Line Mountain, Sr.: Maurer connected on 12 of 15 passes for 248 yards and five touchdowns in a 63-14 romp over Susquenita.
Antonio Perkins, QB, Burrell, So.: Perkins set a school record by rushing for 360 yards and scored seven touchdowns in a 48-41 victory over Deer Lakes. Antonio had five rushing touchdowns, plus a 37-yard punt return score and a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Colton Reber, RB/CB, Schuylkill Haven, Jr.: Reber rushed for 307 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 55-20 victory over Tri-Valley.
Jerome Ross III, RB, Steel-High, Sr.: Ross raced for a staggering 307 rushing yards on 23 carries and scored four touchdowns including an 80-yard kickoff return in Steel-High’s 46-30 victory over Newport.
Isaac Ryon, RB, Lackawanna Trail, Sr.: Ryon stacked up an amazing 370 rushing yards and scored five touchdowns in a 40-14 rout over Riverside.
Big School (Class 4A-6A)
Shavane Anderson Jr., RB, York, Sr.: Anderson Jr. rushed 32 times for 294 yards and scored a touchdown run. Shavane added a touchdown reception in a 56-14 loss to Central York.
Gabe Duda, RB/SS, Honesdale, Jr.: Duda dashed for 384 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 41-40 win over West Scranton.
Antonio Fontanez, QB, Bethlehem Liberty, Sr.: Fontanez threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns and added another touchdown on the ground in a 42-14 clobbering over Bethlehem Freedom.
Tayshaun Lewis, RB/CB, Chartiers Valley, Sr.: Lewis bolted for 219 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-0 whipping over Ringgold.
Julius Madden, WR/CB, West York, Sr.: Madden hauled in four catches for 148 yards and two touchdowns and added a 90-yard kickoff return in a 50-7 rout over Dover.
Cole Ordway, QB, Easton Area, Sr.: Ordway sprinted for 231 yards and scored an astounding seven touchdowns in a 51-14 romp over Nazareth Area.
Giovanni Rothrauff, RB, Norwin, Jr.: Rothrauff darted for a school-record 260 yards in a 14-7 victory over Mt. Lebanon.
Liam Taylor, RB/LB, Haverford, Sr.: Taylor galloped for 241 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 49-7 drubbing over Conestoga.
Jaxon Tyree, RB/CB, Northern York, Sr.: Tyree rushed 31 times for 191 yards and two touchdowns in a 22-21 victory over Palmyra.
Nickayus Zenon, WR, Middletown, Sr.: Zenon pulled in six receptions for 229 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-27 loss to Trinity.
