Week 1 Player of the Week Nominees:
Small School (Class 1A-3A)

Rory Dixon, RB, Marian Catholic, Jr.: Dixon rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-24 win over Hanover Area.

Grady Hope, RB, Big Spring, Sr.: Hope carried 25 times for 218 yards and two scores in a 23-20 win over Shippensburg.

Maddox Jarzynski, WR, Trinity, Sr.: Jarzynski caught 12 passes for 168 yards in a 19-16 loss to Allentown Central Catholic.

Gabriel Jenkins, QB/ATH, Imani Christian, Jr.: Jenkins rushed for 211 yards and a touchdown and threw for another touchdown in a 19-12 victory over Clairton.

Jake Kissel, QB, Bishop Guilfoyle, Sr.: Kissel rushed for 231 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-18 win over Penns Valley.

Luke Miller, RB/ATH, North Schuylkill, Sr.: Miller ran for 240 yards and three touchdowns in a 62-20 victory over Mount Carmel.

Colton Reber, RB, Schuylkill Haven, Jr.: Reber ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-27 win over Blue Mountain.

Isaac Ryon, RB, Lackawanna Trail, Sr.: Ryon had 166 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 14 carries in a 35-21 victory over Tunkhannock.

Tyler Ulrich, LB, Warrior Run, Sr.: Ulrich tallied 3 sacks in a 21-7 win over Muncy.

Brandon Way, RB, Lancaster Catholic, Sr.: Way ran for 205 yards and three touchdowns in a 43-7 victory over Camp Hill.

Big School (Class 4A-6A)

David Dennison, RB, Bethel Park, Sr.: Dennison ran for 238 yards and four touchdowns in a 43-26 victory over Seneca Valley.

Evan Devine, QB, Bethel Park, Sr.: Devine passed for 359 yard and two touchdowns in a 43-26 victory over Seneca Valley.

Peyton Falzone, QB, Nazareth, Sr.: Falzone accounted for 347 yards — 247 passing yards, 100 rushing yards — and four touchdowns in a 46-7 win over Hazelton.

Ahmeir Green, QB, West Philadelphia, Jr.: Green had 407 yards passing and 30 yards rushing and four touchdowns in a 47-42 loss to Manheim Central.

Jaxson Hanzely, WR, DuBois, Sr.: Hanzely hauled in eight passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-35 win over General McLane.

Justice Hardy, RB, Wyomissing, Jr.: Hardy rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-22 win over Southern Columbia.

Jaiyon Lewis, CB/ATH, Harrisburg, Sr.: Lewis intercepted three passes and was instrumental in a 40-26 victory over Imhotep Charter.

Messiah Mickens, RB, Harrisburg, Sr.: Mickens ran for 171 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-26 win over Imhotep Charter.

Kemon Spell, RB, McKeesport, Jr.: Spell rushed for 292 yards in a 51-24 win over Delaware Valley. Spell had five total touchdowns with four on the ground. The other was a 98-yard kick return score.

Trey Wingard, QB, DuBois, Sr.: Trey passed for 387 yards and six touchdowns in a 56-35 victory over General McLane.
