The 2025 high school football action continued this past weekend with some great games across Pennsylvania! Here is Mr. PA Football’s recap of some of the top games.
Pine-Richland Shocks North Allegheny 67-0
Unfortunately, one of the most anticipated Pennsylvania high school football games of the weekend ended up being a lopsided affair.
This game was billed as a tough traditional WPIAL rivalry game between schools north of Pittsburgh. This contest was over as soon as it started and ended up a gigantic blowout. Pine-Richland scored the most points against North Allegheny in the team’s history.
Pine-Richland (8-1) was dominant again and clobbered North Allegheny (7-2) 67-0 on Friday night. The Rams are averaging 49.6 points per game this season. The Tigers have looked shaky lately and had single-digit wins over Canon-McMillan, Mt. Lebanon, and Norwin.
Senior defensive back/wide receiver Jay Timmons, a Florida State recruit, returned from an injury and scored three touchdowns. Senior running back Maclane Miller also scored three touchdowns. Junior wideout Khalil Taylor, who recently decommit from Penn State, scored another touchdown.
Pine-Richland had two touchdowns from Jay Timmons and Maclane Miller each in the first quarter to jump out to a 27-0 lead. Timmons and Miller found the end zone again in the second quarter before Khalil Taylor joined the party to go ahead 48-0 and a field goal was added to make the score 51-0 at halftime. The Rams were led by 223 passing yards from Aaron Strader, while Timmons and Taylor each went over 100 yards receiving.
