Week 8 Player of the Week Nominees:
Small School (Class 1A-3A)
Aiden Bliss, RB/LB, Port Allegany, Sr.: Bliss ran for 206 yards and four touchdowns as Port Allegany demolished Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley 71-16.
Andrew Corfield, RB, South Side, Sr.: Corfield had 21 carries for 256 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-7 victory over Neshannock.
Christian Dawkins, RB/LB, Beaver Falls, Sr.: Dawkins dashed for 180 yards and three touchdowns in a 39-24 win over New Brighton.
Derek Diamond, RB, Frazier, Sr.: Diamond piled up 284 yards on 37 carries and scored five touchdowns in a 41-20 victory over Riverview.
Vinnie Feliciano, RB, Mercyhurst Prep, Jr.: Feliciano rushed for 297 yards and scored eight touchdowns in a 55-8 rout over Iroquois.
Owen Gearhart, QB, Keystone Oaks, Sr.: Gearhart scampered for 200 yards and two touchdowns to lead Keystone Oaks to a 21-14 win over Waynesburg Central.
Khylil Johnson, RB/CB, Cornell, Sr.: Johnson ran for 242 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-8 victory over Rochester.
Luke Miller, RB/CB, North Schuylkill, Sr.: Miller galloped for a school record 383 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 42-21 triumph over Blue Mountain.
Tevin Owen-Cratsenberg, RB, Highlands, So.: Owen-Cratsenberg ran for 318 yards on 16 carries and scored four touchdowns in a 42-21 win over Burrell.
Matt Sieg, QB/S, Fort Cherry, Sr.: Sieg rushed for 270 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-19 romp over Bishop Canevin. Matt added a 55-yard punt return for a score and an 86-yard interception return for the final score of the game.
Big School (Class 4A-6A)
Brodie Cornell, RB/FS, West Allegheny, Jr.: Cornell rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-14 victory over New Castle.
Nolan DiLucia, QB/SS, Peters Township, Sr.: DiLucia passed for 246 yards and three touchdowns to lead Peters Township to a 31-7 win at South Fayette.
Torin Evans, QB, Susquehanna Twp., Sr.: Evans threw for 419 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-13 romp over Big Spring. Torin ran for 109 yards and added another touchdown on the ground.
Armand Hill, RB/CB, West Mifflin, Jr.: Hill ran for 180 yards and three touchdowns as West Mifflin smashed Indiana 42-7.
Jarrett Kern, WR, Susquehanna Township, Sr.: Kern recorded seven receptions for 174 yards and a touchdown in a 42-13 rout over Big Spring.
D’Antae Sheffey, RB, State College, Sr.: Sheffey totaled 183 rushing yards on 26 carries and scored three touchdowns in a 39-14 victory over Central Dauphin East.
Aven Shirley, WR/FS, Kiski Area, Sr.: Shirley collected 10 receptions for 184 yards and a touchdown in a 27-25 win over Armstrong.
Kemon Spell, RB, McKeesport, Jr.: Spell carried the ball 18 times and rushed for 236 yards while scoring four touchdowns. Kemon added a 66-yard scoring reception and an 86-yard punt return for a touchdown as the Tigers rolled past Mars Area 56-31.
Hunter Strohm, RB/LB, Lower Dauphin, Sr.: Strohm carried the ball 39 times for 253 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-26 victory over Mifflin County.
John Welde, QB, Cardinal O’Hara, Sr.: Welde set a new school record by passing for 324 and four touchdowns in a 42-14 win over Father Judge.
