Week 6 Player of the Week Nominees:
Small School (Class 1A-3A)
Cohen Bechtel, RB, Halifax, Sr.: Bechtel ran for 184 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns on 13 carries as the Wildcats beat Camp Hill 49-13.
Jesse Binger, RB, Big Spring, Jr.: Binger exploded for 157 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 53-7 rout over Boiling Springs.
Dante Carr, QB, Minersville, Sr.: Carr accounted for 315 yards — 169 passing yards, 146 rushing yards — and three touchdowns in a 38-7 victory over Marian Catholic.
Carter Dreibelbis, RB, Upper Dauphin, Sr.: Dreibelbis rushed for 178 yards on 30 carries and scored three touchdowns in a 35-26 victory over James Buchanan.
Tee Guesman, RB, Albert Gallatin, Sr.: Guesman ran for 285 yards and a staggering seven touchdowns in a 63-56 shootout win over Allegany.
Cade Lusk, FB, South Williamsport, So.: Lusk rushed for 222 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 54-6 romp over Cowanesque Valley.
Brady McDermott, QB, Holy Redeemer, So.: McDermott passed for 392 yards and five touchdowns in a 44-38 loss to Holy Cross.
Wyatt Sparbanie, RB, Western Beaver, Jr.: Sparbanie ran for 265 yards and an astounding seven touchdowns in a 48-19 win over Riverside.
Kevin Vincent, RB, Holy Cross, Sr.: Vincent carried 28 times for 353 yards and five touchdowns and led Holy Cross to a 44-38 victory over Holy Redeemer.
Big School (Class 4A-6A)
Semaj Beals, QB, Roman Catholic, Sr.: Beals passed for 344 yards and five touchdowns in a huge 39-36 upset victory over #1 La Salle College HS.
Logan Cummings, QB, West Chester East, Jr.: Cummings completed 23 of 36 passes for 370 yards and three touchdowns. Also, he scored a touchdown on the ground in a 51-26 loss to Downingtown East.
Trey Damschroder, WR, Williamsport, Jr.: Damschroder caught five passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 67-40 loss to Jersey Shore.
Damien Eastman, QB, Wyoming Valley West, So.: Eastman threw for 344 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-26 loss to Executive Education Academy.
Johnny Garcia, FB, Solanco, Sr.: Garcia rushed for 319 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 62-20 rout over Conrad Weiser.
Chase Golden, WR, West Chester East, Jr.: Golden reeled in 10 receptions for 256 yards and two touchdowns in a 51-26 loss to Downingtown East.
Dwayne Morgan, SS, Central York, Sr.: Morgan had three interceptions and returned one for a touchdown as Central York smashed Dallastown 63-7.
Karson Sipley, RB, Athens, Sr.: Sipley ran for 200 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 35-22 win over Wellsboro.
Cameron Small, RB, Muhlenberg, Sr.: Small galloped for 226 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 35-21 victory over Elizabethtown.
Sean Steckert, RB/LB, Southern Lehigh, Sr.: Steckert scampered for 320 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 47-27 win over Jim Thorpe.
Tevin Williams, QB, Williamsport, So.: Williams passed for 320 yards and five touchdowns in a 67-40 loss to Jersey Shore.
