Postseason Round 2 Player of the Week Nominees:
Small School (Class 1A-3A)
Da’Ron Barksdale, ATH/CB, Steel Valley, Sr.: Barksdale galloped for 213 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-6 romp over Ellwood City.
Kymon’e Brown, QB/ATH/CB, Jeannette, Sr.: Brown accounted for 348 yards — 232 passing yards, 116 rushing yards — and four touchdowns in a 38-33 loss to Clairton.
Joey Felitsky, QB, North Catholic, Sr.: Feltisky threw for 263 yards and five touchdowns in a 55-32 pounding over Elizabeth Forward.
Brenden Gilliland, RB/LB, Troy, Sr.: Gilliland darted for 323 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 48-34 playoff victory over Warrior Run.
Maddox Jarynski, WR/LB, Trinity, Sr.: Jarzynski had four receptions for 97 yards and three receiving touchdowns and an interception return for a touchdown in in Trinity’s 42-21 victory over Annville-Cleona.
Gabriel Jenkins, QB/ATH/S, Imani Christian, Jr.: Jenkins sprinted for 184 yards and two touchdowns in a 59-21 rout over Hopewell.
James Keifer, QB/CB, Warrior Run, Sr.: Keifer passed for 278 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-34 loss to Troy.
Colton Reber, RB/CB, Schuylkill Haven, Jr.: Reber scooted for 395 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 60-7 spanking over Northern Lehigh.
Isaac Ryon, RB, Lackawanna Trail, Sr.: Ryon stacked up 319 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 41-14 rout over Tri-Valley.
Eli Salvini, RB/LB, Fort Cherry, Jr.: Salvini rushed for 206 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 36-9 playoff win over Neshannock.
Big School (Class 4A-6A)
Leomar Brown, RB/CB, Exeter Township, Sr.: Brown sprinted for 220 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-34 thrilling playoff win over Conestoga Valley.
Drew Engle, RB/FS, Twin Valley, Sr.: Engle scampered for 219 yards and scored three rushing touchdowns and accounted for five total touchdowns in a 55-15 trouncing over West Perry. Engle broke the Twin Valley career touchdown record against West Perry, too.
Connor Kulka, QB, State College, So.: Kulka passed for 224 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-7 rout over McDowell.
Daryus Dixon, WR/SS, Manheim Township, Sr.: Dixon accounted for four touchdowns in 49-7 romp over Hempfield. Daryus reeled in five receptions for 165 yards and three touchdowns and intercepted three passes, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
T.J. Lawrence, RB/LB Parkland, Jr.: Lawrence dashed for 116 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns and also hauled in a touchdown pass in a 35-14 playoff win over Nazareth Area.
Kemon Spell, RB, McKeesport, Jr.: Spell galloped for 331 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 28-3 playoff victory over Thomas Jefferson. Kemon also added an interception on defense.
Sean Steckert, RB/LB, Southern Lehigh, Sr.: Steckert raced for 262 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 55-14 pounding over Blue Mountain.
Colin Steinhart, CB/WR, Shamokin, Jr.: Steinhart intercepted an astonishing five passes and returned one interception for a score in a 37-0 shutout win over Jersey Shore.
Cam Walter, QB, Woodland Hills, Sr.: Walter ends his career by throwing for 228 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-26 loss to Upper St. Clair.
Peyton Wylie, WR/DB, Central Dauphin, Sr.: Wylie gathered two interceptions and grabbed six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Peyton also registered 10 tackles in a 21-9 loss to Harrisburg.
