List of Week 8 Nominees

Small School (Class 1A-3A)

Kaden DiVito, WR-DB, Cornell, Jr.: DiVito snatched 10 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns for Cornell in a heart-breaking 35-34 loss to Laurel Friday night.

Justin Flack, RB, Derry, Sr.: Flack scooted for 159 yards, but tied a WPIAL-record with eight touchdowns. Justin scored six touchdowns on offense and one each on special teams and defense as Derry turned back Yough, 63-20.

Zaier Harrison, QB, Cornell, Jr.: Zaier had a spectacular game against Laurel this past weekend, completing 28 of 45 pass attempts for four touchdowns and 465 yards. Harrison also racked up 26 yards and another touchdown on the ground for Cornell in a tough 35-34 loss to opponent Laurel.

Chris Mohra, RB, Fairview, Sr.: Mohra ran for 379 yards on 25 carries and six touchdowns to lead Fairview to a 48-21 win over Titusville Friday night.

Big School (Class 4A-6A)

Drew Engel, RB-WR-LB, Canon-McMillan, Sr.: Engel, a wide receiver made his first career start at running back, rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries Friday night as Canon-McMillan earned a 34-12 victory over Norwin.

Anthony Harris, QB, Nazareth, Jr.: Harris was brilliant while completing 24 of 41 passes for 385 yards and three touchdowns in a massive 28-7 victory over Whitehall on Friday night.

Joey McCracken, QB, Warwick, So.: McCracken passed for a sensational 530 yards and five touchdown passes. Joey led Warwick to a gigantic 38-12 victory over Wilson Friday night.

Trevor Seitz, QB, Eastern York, Jr.: Seitz was magnificent while completing 30 of 38 passes for 497 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions in a 43-42 loss to Susquehannock Friday night.
